The Board advises State Superintendent of Education, Governor, and General Assembly on education and care of deaf/blind individuals; recommends standards and payment rates for facilities serving deaf and blind. The Advisory Board shall meet at least 4 times per year and not more than 12 times per year. (6 members of the Advisory Board shall constitute a quorum). |

| Qualifications | Each appointing authority, other than Governor, shall include at least one parent of deaf-blind individual, or a person who is deaf-blind. One person designated by each agency may be an employee of such agency. Board is to meet between 4 and 12 times year. |
