13 voting members - 1 member of the House of Representatives, appointed by the Speaker - 1 member of the House of Representatives, appointed by the House Minority Leader - 1 member of the Senate, appointed by the President of the Senate - 1 member of the Senate, appointed by the Senate Minority Leader - 9 appointed by the Governor including: - 1 person with a developmental disability, or a family member or guardian of such person, - 1 person with a mental illness, or family member or guardian of such person - 2 persons from unions that represent employees of community providers that serve people with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and alcohol and substance abuse disorders - 5 persons from statewide associations that represent community providers that provide residential, day training, and other developmental disability services, mental health service, alcohol and substance abuse services, rehabilitation services, or early intervention services, or any combination of those - 6 ex-officio, nonvoting members including: - Director of the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget or his/her designee - Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Human Services or his/her designee - Administrator of the Department of Healthcare and Family Services Division of Finance or his/her designee - Director of the Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities or his or her designee - Director of the Department of Human Services Division of Mental Health or his or her designee - Director of the Department of Human Services Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse or his or her designee. |
