7 voting members appointed by the Governor*: 1 board-certified physician, licensed, practicing and currently treating individuals with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders; 1 nurse, licensed, practicing and currently treating individuals with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders; 1 social worker, licensed, practicing and currently treating individuals with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders; 1 representative of a federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center; 1 representative of an organization established under the Illinois Insurance Code for the purpose of providing health insurance; 1 representative of a voluntary health organization that currently services that hemophilia and other bleeding disorders community; 1 patient or caregiver of a patient with hemophilia or other bleeding disorder; Director of Healthcare and Family Services, non voting Director of Insurance (or designee), non voting. - *Board may also have up to 5 additional nonvoting members as determined appropriate by the Directors. These members may be persons with or caregivers of a patient with hemophilia or bleeding disorder. |
